Vimeo: How to Use Vimeo Video in Media

To use Vimeo links in the Media feature, you first need to have a Brand Profile account. You can either:

  1. Select an existing Brand Profile. 

  2. Or create a new Brand Profile if you don't have one yet. 

      

When the Brand Profile account is set up, generate a Vimeo API token on Vimeo’s side (1).
Once the token is generated, copy and paste it into the Vimeo Token field in the Brand Profile settings (2).

 
  

Next, assign the Brand Profile to the tour where you would like to use the Vimeo links. To do this, go to the Manage section of the tour > find the Info tab > click Edit > select the Brand Profile and save your changes: 

Once the Brand Profile is assigned, you will be able to incorporate Vimeo videos into your tours using the Media feature. Here is an example of the supported link format for the Media feature:

 

Note: The Media feature supports Vimeo videos with both settings:

  • Public: https://vimeo.com/1234567890

  • Unlisted: https://vimeo.com/1234567890/1234567890

Make sure the video link does not contain symbols like ?share=copy at the end.
