Navigation Tags

Treedis introduces the great new feature - Navigation Tags. This feature is used to automatically navigate users on the space by displaying the path of virtual bubbles between a user and specific location in the tour.

Navigation tags are available for Business and Enterprise plan users.

How to Create the Navigation Tag

1. Open the tour and go to Workspace > Tags > click "+" to add a new tag:

2. Add a tag name > click "+" to enable Navigation settings for this tag > enable the toggle next to AR and/or WEB mode where you want to use the navigation tag:

3. Select the items that you want to be displayed on the navigation bar:

Display content - to display information about the tag: a tag's name and distance in meters to reach the tag.

Teleport button - to show the button on the navigation bar that will teleport a user to the tag.

Auto-move - to show the button on the navigation bar that will start moving the user automatically to the tag.

Autoplay - to start moving a user automatically to the destination spot after clicking on the tag in the Burger Menu.

4. Then go to Burger Menu > click "+" icon and use one of two options:
- click to create Menu item > select Tag action type > and pick the needed tag form the list;
- or click Add All Tags > it will automatically move all available tags to the Burger Menu.

When the needed tag appears in the Burger Menu, the moment when a user clicks on the tag item in the Burger Menu, it will create a path to the destination tag. The navigation line will adjust its direction automatically sweep by sweep.

Note: Navigation line will appear only if the tag is no less than 3 meters away from the starting point.

How to Use Deep Links for Navigation Path

The tag is not the only way to create a navigation path. Treedis platform provides two additional ways to maximize this feature. If you don't want to use the tags for navigation, you can also:

1. Add the deep link from the same tour to the Burger Menu with navigation path action type;
2. Or create the navigation path by assigning the deep link to the VS object (image).

Navigation in Burger Menu

Go to Burger Menu > click "+" icon > select Menu Item:

Add the title for destination spot > select Navigation Path as action type > insert a deep link with coordinates from the same tour:

*To retrieve a deep link, open the tour public link and click Ctrl+Y being on the needed location.

The moment when user clicks on the relevant menu item in the Burger Menu, it will create a path with the virtual bubbles to navigate a user to the destination place (a deep link location).

Navigation in VS (Media Image)

Apart from the Burger Menu, there is also a possibility to add a deep link to the Media image to navigate users by displaying the bubbles between an image and a deep link location (from the same tour).

Go to Media > click "+ Add" > select to upload the image or insert it using the URL:

Place an image on your space > select Navigation Path as action type > insert a deep link for desired destination spot:

*To retrieve a deep link, open the tour public link and click Ctrl+Y being on the needed location.

When user clicks on this image in the tour, it will show the path of virtual bubbles starting from the image towards the destination place (a deep link location).

Have a great time exploring this feature!
