Chat

Treedis offers you an opportunity to have a Live Chat with the visitors directly in your tour! You can enable the chat feature, if you (the tour owner) have a Business or Enterprise subscription.

In order to turn on the Chat, go to the tour Workspace InterfaceRestrictions. Find the toggle Enable avatar mode and pull it to the right. You will see the toggle Enable text chat, which also should be activated. Save the changes.

   

Once you are in the tour, you will see the Chat icon in the left-down corner. Click on it to start the communication. 

Upon entering the tour, your visitors will be given an option to choose the avatar for better representation in chat. However, you (the tour owner) will not see your own avatar. The chat window itself will look this way: 

     

NOTE: New chat participant will see the messages starting from his/her own first message. Previously written messages in chat will not display for the new participants.

The chat window is active until the chat participant is in the tour. When you close the chat window and leave the tour, the chat conversation won't be saved (neither for a tour owner nor a tour visitor).
