1. Can I use/add Matterport links within the Flows feature?
No, Matterport links are not supported in Flows. Only Treedis deeplinks can be used to define positions within a Flow.
2. Can I configure locks using the Flows feature, as in the Experience Creator?
The Flows feature currently allows you to configure the settings so they resemble a sequence lock. Other types of locks available in the Experience Creator are not supported in Flows at this time.
3. The ‘Back’ button doesn’t work when teleporting between steps. How can I configure it?
To make the ‘Back’ button work properly within steps settings, ensure you have added a teleport ('position to' action) within the first condition in each step.
Here is a path: when creating a New Step, make sure to add a "position to" within the first condition of the step. The system needs a defined location to understand where the users should be returned back within flows experience.
4. How can I add audio (voiceover) in the Flows settings?
There are several ways to add audio in Flows:
- Using the “music” action on assets – You can assign the “music” action type to an asset (e.g., media image, polygon, tag, or VS item). When the asset is clicked during the Flow, the assigned audio will start playing.
- Using the 3D Scans feature – You can assign the “music” action type to specific sweeps. Once users reach those sweeps during the Flow, the audio will start playing automatically.
5. Can I control audio/music volume in Flows?
Yes, audio volume can be controlled in two ways:
-
Audio volume can be adjusted manually using the sound icon on the left side of the screen during the Flow experience.
- Also you can set a default volume level for the entire Flows tour. Go to the tour Manage section > Music > set up % for the default volume. This volume level will apply to all sounds in the Flows tour.
6. Is Analytics supported in Flows?
Not yet. Analytics for the Flows feature is currently under development.
7. What might cause Flows to lag or crash the workspace, displaying a grey screen?
A reason may be the word "flows” included in the tour's smart link, which may cause performance issues such as lagging or crashes. To resolve this: go to the tour Manage section > Info > click the pencil icon to edit and rename the smart link to remove the word “flows”.
8. How can I create multiple buttons on the display bar in Flows?
Each step in Flows requires a trigger to move to the next step. This trigger can be the Next button or Asset (media, polygon, tag, or VS object). You can add and name as many triggers as needed based on your tour’s design. In such case users will have multiple buttons as selectable options in the Flows display bar.
9. If I have multiple tours, can I create a single Flow across them? To start Flow in tour 1, then move to tour 2 and make the Flow continue?
Yes, with some workarounds:
1. You can add a tour link as an "iframe" inside an asset (e.g., media image, polygon, or tag) and set it to appear within Flow settings. Then create a new Flow in the second tour as a continuation for the first one.
2. If you would like users to be able to jump to another tour within Flows, you can add the "tour link" action type to an object (e.g., media image). When the image is clicked within Flows, it will open the second tour in a new browser tab. This way the user will be able to jump between the spaces, creating the appearance of a continuous Flow.
